Deposit for stays of 2 to 6 days inclusive (with 1 pet): €400
Deposit for stays of 7 days or more: €500
Deposit for stays of 7 days or more (with 1 pet): €700
Pet supplement: €40 per stay (1 pet maximum per stay, dog or cat only), offered for guide dogs
Change of sheets and towels during stay (on request : once only): €40 (free for stays longer than 7 days)
Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer (link by Sumup).
VAT not applicable, art.293B du CGI
A tourist tax will be due on arrival: 4% per night (max. €3.20) + additional tax 10% per adult per night.
ARTICLE 1: APPLICATION OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTSC)
The present General Sales Conditions (GSC) apply to the reservation made by the customer. These terms and conditions are available to customers on the “Villa Angèle” gîte website.
THE CUSTOMER WHO VALIDATES THE VILLA ANGELE https://www.gite-villa-angele-charente.com BOOKING FORM OR WHO MAKES THE REQUEST, BY ANY OTHER MEANS TO THE VILLA ANGELE, ACCEPTS WITHOUT ANY RESERVE, THE ARTICLES OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE HEREAFTER.
Any reservation therefore implies the Customer's full and unreserved acceptance of these conditions.
ARTICLE 2: PURPOSE
These terms and conditions of sale are intended for the exclusive use of Villa Angèle's self-catering holiday reservations.
ARTICLE 3 : LENGTH OF STAY
Reservations are made for a fixed period of time between Villa Angèle and the customer.
The minimum stay is 2 days (7 days from 04/07 to 30/08).
The maximum stay is 90 days.
Under no circumstances will the customer be able to claim any right to remain in the premises after the duration of the stay stipulated at the time of reservation.
ARTICLE 4 : RESERVATION
Reservations can be made via the https://www.gite-villa-angele-charente.com website, directly, by e-mail or telephone, or via a reservation website (Airbnb, etc.).
Except for last-minute bookings, reservations are confirmed by Villa Angèle.
If the reservation is made on our partners' websites, no confirmation from Villa Angèle will be sent to the customer.
The reservation becomes effective when the customer has sent the Villa Angèle 100% of the total amount of the stay (including additional costs and deposit) AND the Villa Angèle has sent an e-mail confirmation to the customer.
ARTICLE 5: ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The gîte is available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. Arrivals are between 4pm and 7pm.
The customer must inform Villa Angèle in the event of late or delayed arrival.
In case of absence, the keys will be available in a key box.
On arrival, a tourist tax will be due: 4% per night (max 3.20 €) + additional tax 10% per adult per night.
Access to the gîte is only possible after payment of the tourist tax.
A police form must be filled in and a copy of your identity card or passport must be provided. You will then be given the keys (gate and entrance), together with an inventory and inventory of fixtures for verification.
On departure, the gîte must be left in the same condition as on arrival, with the beds unmade, the kitchen clean and the crockery put away. All garbage cans must be emptied. Keys must be left on site.
The gîte must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest. If the gîte is vacated later than 11 a.m., an additional night will be charged at the public rate.
The deposit will be returned in full within 48 hours by transfer to the customer's bank account. Villa Angèle cannot be held responsible for bank processing delays.
ARTICLE 6: CANCELLATION
6.1 CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
All cancellations must be notified to Villa Angèle by telephone on (+33) 06 71 90 32 44 as soon as possible and by e-mail to the following address: gite.villaangele@gmail.com
If the customer does not manifest himself by telephone, sms or e-mail, and does not show up before 7 pm on the scheduled day, the reservation will become null and void and Villa Angèle will be able to dispose of the gîte.
The sums paid by the customer will be reimbursed or retained by Villa Angèle according to the rules indicated in paragraph 6.1.1 below.
In the event of an interrupted stay, the total price of the reservation remains payable in full.
The following are considered as “cancellation"
- Change of booking dates,
- Default of contractual payment,
- Oral or written notice of non-attendance for personal reasons,
- Non-attendance without warning,
- Breach of gîte rules.
Cancellations of all or part of the initial reservation must be accepted in writing by the Villa Angèle, which may, without any reason, refuse the request to modify the services.
In the absence of written acceptance by the establishment, the reservation will be maintained under the initial terms and the Villa Angèle will not be liable to pay any compensation whatsoever. There will be no reduction or discount in the event of non-arrival or early departure, at the Customer's initiative, whatever the reason (except for exclusions below, article 6.1.2).
Any stay begun is payable in full in accordance with the reservation made by the Customer.
6.1.1 CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
If cancellation occurs 30 DAYS or more before the start date of the stay, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded to the customer.
If the cancellation occurs LESS THAN 30 DAYS and more than 10 days before the start of the stay, 30% of the total reservation will be retained by Villa Angèle.
If the cancellation occurs LESS THAN 10 DAYS before the beginning of the stay, the totality of the reservation will be kept by Villa Angèle.
If the cancellation concerns a reservation made less than 10 days before the scheduled arrival date, the total amount of the reservation will be retained by Villa Angèle.
The deposit is fully refunded in the event of cancellation.
6.1.2 EXCLUSIONS TO THE APPLICATION OF CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
- Death of a family member: a death certificate and proof of family relationship must be provided,
- Hospitalization of the customer or a family member: a hospital admission certificate specifying the reason for admission must be provided,
- Major damage to the customer's main residence (fire, destruction, burglary): proof to be provided.
6.2 CANCELLATION BY VILLA ANGELE
In the event of non-availability of the establishment, in the event of force majeure, technical problems or for any other reason, Villa Angèle will refund the full price of the stay and will not be liable to pay any additional compensation.
ARTICLE 7: PRICES
Prices are expressed in Euros.
The applicable rates are those in force on the day of booking. The rates are increased by the tourist tax which will be collected on arrival.

ARTICLE 8 : HOW TO BOOK AND PAY FOR THE STAY
Payment of 100% of the total cost of the stay at the time of booking.

Deposit for stays of 7 days or more: €500

In the event of non-payment of the total stay and additional charges, the reservation will not be confirmed by Villa Angèle, which may refuse access to the gîte in the event of non-payment on the day of entry.
A tourist tax will be due on arrival: 4% per night (max. €3.20) + additional tax 10% per adult per night.
ARTICLE 9: OCCUPATION OF THE PREMISES
9.1 Damage
The customer must ensure peaceful enjoyment of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. Any damage will be billed to the customer and deducted from the security deposit.
No parties are permitted in the gîte.
In the event of non-compliance with the present terms and conditions, Villa Angèle reserves the right to terminate the stay without compensation and/or reimbursement.
9.2 Additional persons
The gîte can accommodate 4 people and a baby until 30/04/2025 and 6 people and a baby from 01/05/2025.
The Customer undertakes not to bring additional persons to those stated at the time of booking and not to sublet the gîte.
If this is not the case, Villa Angèle will refuse access to the gîte and will retain the sums paid.
ARTICLE 10: INSURANCE-DETERIORATION-BREAKAGE-THEFT
The customer certifies that he has taken out civil liability insurance to cover any damage caused in the establishment during his stay. The customer must ensure the safekeeping of all goods and materials brought by him/herself. The establishment cannot be held responsible for any damage to or theft of such property.
The customer is responsible for all damage caused by him/herself, his/her companions or pets, and undertakes to pay the cost of repairing any damage to the premises made available.
Under no circumstances may the establishment be held responsible for damage of any kind whatsoever, in particular fire or theft, which may affect the objects or materials deposited by the Customer in connection with the accommodation.
ARTICLE 11: ANIMALS
Only dogs and cats are allowed in the gîte if they are educated, calm, clean, vaccinated and wormed.
Only one animal per stay is permitted. Pets must not be kept in bedrooms.
Any customer arriving with an aggressive animal will be refused access to the gîte. This refusal cannot be considered as a modification or cancellation on the part of Villa Angèle.
A supplement of €40 (forty euros) will be charged per stay and per animal for additional cleaning costs (offered for guide dogs).
The deposit will be €400 for a stay of 2 to 6 days and €700 for a stay of more than 7 days.
Any droppings must be collected in the garden.
If a customer cannot accept this refusal and decides not to continue with his stay, the sums paid will be retained by Villa Angèle. The customer will not be entitled to any claim.
ARTICLE 12: SMOKING
Smoking is strictly forbidden in the gîte except on the terrace or outside.
Ashtrays are available on request.
Vaping is also prohibited inside the gîte.
ARTICLE 13 : LIABILITY
The Villa Angèle cannot be held responsible for any changes in the structure of any nature whatsoever: transfer of establishment, closure of establishment.
The photos presented on the website are not contractual. Although every effort is made to ensure that the photographs, graphic representations and texts reproduced to illustrate the gîte give as accurate an idea as possible of the accommodation services offered, variations may occur, notably due to changes in furniture or renovations.
The customer is not entitled to any claim in this respect.
Villa Angèle shall not be held liable for any indirect damage resulting from the present contract, in particular operating loss, third-party damage, damage caused by the Customer or its partners.
ARTICLE 14: FORCE MAJEURE
The obligations contained herein shall not apply or shall be suspended if their performance has become impossible due to an event of force majeure such as: act of public authority, hostilities, war, natural disaster, fire, flood, unannounced strikes, pandemic, etc.
The parties shall make every effort to prevent or reduce the effects of non-performance of the contract caused by an event of force majeure; the party wishing to invoke an event of force majeure must immediately notify the other party of the beginning and end of this event, failing which it cannot be relieved of its responsibility.
ARTICLE 15: MODIFICATION
The present GCS may be modified at any time. In this case, Villa Angèle will transmit the modifications to the Customer before the beginning of his stay. The new version of the GCS will then apply.
ARTICLE 16 : PARTIAL NULLITY
The nullity of one or more articles of the present General Terms and Conditions will not entail the nullity of the whole of the General Terms and Conditions. All other provisions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.
ARTICLE 17 : COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute, claim or disagreement concerning any part of the invoice, the Customer undertakes to notify Villa Angèle in writing, by recorded delivery with acknowledgement of receipt, of the reason and the amount of the dispute, within 7 days of the date of the end of the accommodation.
Once this period has elapsed, the service and invoicing are considered to have been accepted and cannot give rise to any subsequent complaint on the part of the Customer.
In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of an amicable agreement, the competent courts will be those of the location of Villa Angèle's head office, i.e. Angoulême.
All complaints should be sent by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt to the following address: Villa Angèle, 22 rue Victor Hugo, 16450 Saint-Claud.
The applicable law is French law.
ARTICLE 18 : ELECTION OF DOMICILE
All written communications between the parties (letters, notifications, e-mails...) must be sent for Villa Angèle to its postal address 22 rue Victor Hugo, 16450 Saint-Claud or electronic address gite.villaangele@gmail.com, and for the Customer to the postal or electronic address indicated in the reservation.
